Municipal Sports Hall

Covered hall equipped with gym, dressing rooms and bathrooms.
The sports hall is normally used by the local school “CPI Progreso” in school time. Outside these hours, it is available for being used upon request by groups or adult legal residents of Catoira.

Municipal Tennis court
Balastrera – Oeste
The Council owns two tennis courts which can be used freely for general sports practicing. Adult legal residents of Catoira have first dibs on using it. It is also neccessary to formally request an authorisation at the Municipal Public Library.

Municipal Paddle tennis court
O Campo – Outeiro da Vila
The Council owns a paddle tennis court which can be used freely for general sports practicing. Adult legal residents of Catoira have first dibs on using it. It is also neccessary to formally request an authorisation at the Municipal Public Library.

Municipal sports court in Dimo and Abalo
The Council has prepared two sports courts in Dimo and Abalo, which can be used freely for general sports practicing.
Municipal bulding of water sports
Paseo de Xelmírez, 14 –36612- Catoira
The Council owns a building of waters sports next to the river beach, equipped with gym and dressing rooms. The building is assigned as headquarters of the Canoeing club As Torres-Romaría Vikinga.

Municipal public swimming pool
Paseo de Xelmírez, s/n –36612- Catoira
The swimming pool is located in the broadwalk of the river beach. It is opened from July to August, from 12:00 to 20:00 hours and from Monday to Sunday.
Municipal football ground As Lombas

The Council owns a football ground equipped with synthetic grass. These facilities are normally used by the Catoira SD football club.
